Brandon here as usual, and today we’ve got another new 2 Minute Tuesday!
On a side note, I think this may be the longest run of continuous 2-minute Tuesday videos in a row! And there’s more coming so be sure to subscribe to the email list on the right to stay up to date 🙂
Now, let’s get into today’s video and post. We are taking a look at one of the more helpful and time-saving features in AutoCAD when it comes to creating accurate, quick, and professional-looking tables, Data Linking. In the video, we walk through exactly how to link an Excel file to an AutoCAD table seamlessly and quickly.
By using Data Links for your tables, it allows us to process, clean up and create quality, takeoff, material, etc.. tables that will be dynamically linked to our easy to update and modify Excel File. This can be a huge time-saver for anyone that works with material tables regularly.
Check out the video below and right here to learn all about Linking Excel to your AutoCAD Tables
That’s all for today’s quick Autocad Tip, I hope you all were able to take something away from it and able to add a new tool to your CAD toolbox!
